Curation that
actually pays.
Curators on Vinyl Submit set their own rates. Heres what realistic monthly income looks like across the four badge types.
Blog Curator
A music blog publishing 8-12 features a month at £80 average rate. Quality writing builds repeat clients and higher rates.
Playlist Owner
A genre-tight 10k-follower Spotify playlist. 15 placements a month at £45 average rate. Fastest format to fulfil.
Influencers
A 50k-follower TikTok music account. 6 stories or reels a month at £150 average. Higher reach commands premium rates.
Youtube Channel
A 20k-sub reaction channel. 4 video features a month at £200 average. Premium because content is permanent and indexed.

Deliver & earn

Six rules for top-rated curators
The top 10% of curators on Vinyl Submit earn 4x the median. Heres what separates them.
01
Complete your profile fully
Audience stats, sample work, clear rate, clear turnaround. Empty fields kill conversions.
02
Respond fast
The 3-day window is a floor, not a target.
03
Write offers like contracts
Exact deliverable. Exact platform. Exact timing. Clear offers convert higher.
04
Decline confidently
Bad-genre-fit decline is fine - it costs the artist nothing and protects your reputation.
05
Deliver above the offer
If you said playlist add 4 weeks deliver 5. Over-delivery is the fastest path to 5-star ratings.
06
Protect your delivery proof
Submit the live URL plus 1-2 timestamped screenshots. Clean proof prevents disputes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Market leaders using Vinyl Submit to find the best new music and deliver guaranteed results.
After completing your profile setup (badge type, genres, services, examples), your profile goes to our admin team for manual review. We check your platform presence, content quality and pricing. Most approvals happen within 24 hours. You'll receive a notification email once approved. The first 50 curators to join receive Founding Partner status — 0% platform fee for 6 months.
Go to Submissions & Deals in the sidebar. You'll see all pending submissions in your inbox. Click any submission to listen to the track and read the artist's pitch. You can then send a personalised offer, decline, or let it expire. Make sure your "Accept new submissions" toggle is turned on to keep receiving tracks.
Go to Playlist Submissions in the sidebar, then select the My Playlists tab. Click the settings icon on any playlist to edit accepted genres, required gates (follow account, save song, follow playlist), and language preferences. Artists will only be shown your playlist if their track matches your criteria.
When an artist accepts your offer and pays, the funds are held securely until you complete the work. The amount minus the platform fee is added to your available balance after the work is completed. Go to Earnings in the sidebar to request a withdrawal — minimum £100.
A deal starts when an artist accepts your offer. Go to Submissions & Deals, find the accepted submission, and click to open the deal page. You can chat with the artist, submit your deliverables (links, screenshots), and mark the deal as complete when done. Keep your delivery proof — screenshots and links — in case of any dispute.
We recommend responding within 3 days — this is shown as your target response time on your public profile. If a submission is about to expire (within 24 hours of the 7-day window), you'll receive a reminder notification. Responding quickly improves your response rate stat, which artists use to choose curators.
If an artist reports a problem with your delivery, the funds are temporarily frozen while our admin team reviews the case. You'll be notified immediately. Make sure you always submit your deliverables with clear proof — links and screenshots. Our team aims to resolve disputes within 5 business days.
