Artists pay a £10 gate fee to submit a release to verified curators on our platform. Curators listen to the track and send personalised offers detailing exactly what they'll deliver — playlist placement, blog review, social feature, or more. Artists review all offers and choose which ones to accept. Payment is held in escrow and only released to the curator after the work is delivered. If no curator sends an offer within 7 days, the gate fee is refunded automatically.

When you submit a release, curators have 7 days to send you an offer. If you receive zero offers in that time — your full £10 gate fee is refunded automatically. No forms to fill in, no emails to send. The refund goes back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. We think you should only pay when there's real interest in your music.

The gate fee is £10 per release on the Free plan. On Pro (£20/month) you get 5 releases included per month — extra releases cost £8 each, saving you £2 per release. On Max (£70/month) you get 10 releases per month — extra releases cost £6 each, saving you £4 per release. You can submit to as many curators as you like within a single campaign.

On most platforms you pay per submission with no guarantee of quality — credits disappear whether the curator listens or not. Vinyl Submit works differently: you pay once, and curators compete to feature your music by sending you custom offers. You only pay for a curator's work when you choose to accept their offer. Every curator is manually verified by our team, and our escrow system ensures the work is done before money changes hands.

Curators set their own prices and receive an earning from every accepted deal. There are no upfront costs, no monthly fees, and no credits to buy. Curators build their balance over time and can request a payout at any time — the minimum withdrawal is £100. Payments are sent via Payoneer and other payment methods.

Vinyl Submit accepts all genres — from pop and hip-hop to jazz, rock, electronic, and classical. Our curator network spans every major genre. When you submit a release, the platform shows your track only to curators who have listed your genre as one they accept, so every submission goes to a relevant audience.

Every artist on Vinyl Submit gets free weekly credits to submit music directly to curator-owned playlists — no gate fee needed. Free plan members get 10 credits per week, Pro members get 20, and Max members get 50. Credits reset every Monday. This is the first feature of its kind on a music submission platform.

Click "Apply as a curator" and complete your profile — choose your badge type (Blog, Playlist Curator, Influencer, or YouTube Channel), set your genres, describe your services, and add examples of your work. Our team manually reviews every application, usually within 24 hours. Joining is completely free.

Your payment is protected. If a curator fails to deliver the agreed work, you can report the issue directly from the deal page. Our admin team reviews every dispute and issues a refund if the delivery doesn't match what was promised. We also track curator delivery rates — curators with poor track records are removed from the platform.
